My dad wants to learn Spanish, and is interested in audio, as hes not too keen on reading, whats the best way of doing this??

Best type or whatever. Hope you know what I mean.

Why not go for a part time class at Mancat? (http://www.mancat.ac.uk/adult/courses/portfolio/mfl-courses.asp?sa=a22&cat=oracle). I'm starting Russian there soon.
Or, if he doesn't like reading then try linguaphone. (http://www.linguaphone.co.uk/learn-spanish-1.html)

There are lots of ways to learn a language.

Just a suggestion - go to the library and see what language tuition tapes or CDs they have there - it'll be sufficient to provide a basic grasp of the language and give him an idea as to how easy/difficult it is to pick up Spanish. It'll be cheap to hire the cassettes/CDs for this.

If he then decides he wants to do something more comprehensive, he could go for one of the more expensive options listed above.
