They will show the three Lord of the Rings movies back to back to back on December 16 (Tuesday).

The Fellowship of the Ring Special Edition at 1pm, followed by The Two Towers Special Edition at 5:30pm, followed by Return of the King at 11pm, one hour before it opens in regular theaters.

Tickets were sold out hours after they went on sale October 9. I'm very anxious to see the two special editions in theaters. I think it is going to be a long day, but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity so I'm doing it. :)
