Burtons, River Island and Topman are not what I'd classify as "fashionable", most of what they sell are just pedestrian day to day clothes, we have a fantastic Diesel shop near us and a couple of other decent shops selling DKNY, Armani, Boss, RorD etc

I get socks et al from Tesco. Don't really need to wash them - can just bin them, they're that cheap. I used to love Allders until they shut it :( I tend to get most of my stuff from http://www.lxdirect.com I also like George for some stuff. Shirts, ties and trousers I favour Debenhams. Most highstreet shops are too chavy for my liking.
La Redoute (http://www.redoute.co.uk/) have french style at reasonable prices (tend to be on the small size so get one size bigger).
I normally go to Debenhems. They have a good mixture of clothes.
I've used La Redoute before too and you can find good stuff there too from time to time.
I always find Topman to not have enough of a range and be too streetwise at times.
Just go to Primark - not only are they cheap, but they have the added advantage of nicking Monsoons designs ;) :p:
Allegedly :disturbd:
You can get some pretty good stuff on Psyche's website.
I believe they are in Middlesborough.
