I was really looking forward to getting 100Mb up and running as 50Mb has been fantastic to me and always got 50Mb Down and 5Mb up so I went for the 100Mb down and 10Mb up and was looking forward to it but for some reason last night I was getting 15Mb and only 5Mb up, so I checked this morning and got 95Mb down and 8Mb up which is around what I should get so I am not happy at all with this congestion, anyone here able to check my area to see what the congestion is like for me.

I managed to find something and looked like the utilization was around 95% last night so no wonder I had shocking speeds.

I am not on the broadband side but I can check somethings but without the knowledge I can only guess but 90% port utilazation to me means over loaded UBR.

yup, I think the magic number as far as networks are concerned is 80%, anything over that and you need to be looking into it and relieving congestion.

Apperantly there isn't a network issue, maybe a torrenter has moved in to my area

Well utilisation has to be >90% for 10% of a 7 day period for it to be classed as high utilisation

Well I am on day 2
when i upgraded from xl 30 to xxl 100 the lady over the phone checked my connection and told me with the new speed during the busy times or from 5-11 pm i may face speed issues due to traffic so my guess is using fast speeds are causing more congestion
