Upgrade

Just called VM because they want me to pay £40.50 for 50mb and they offered me the 100mb upgrade early for £34.75 and said it will take upto 24hours to show is this correct ( 24 hours )

Err what? Cable isn't ADSL, upgrades should be pretty instant.

If Im wrong, someone else will correct me.

Thats what I thought but she said I was on the correct package ( 50 ) and noticed that I already had the Shub and said it will be done in 24hours just restart your hub which I have but still on the same package.

Try restarting your suberhub now, the new config has probably already been sent down

Just tried that still on a 50 config just looks like I will have to wait for 24 hours and see if it come down.

I wasn't in any contract but will I be in one now since the have doubled my speed? just signed into my virginmedia and tracked orders and it's set for the 2/4/2012
