Hi guys,
I'm currently on the XXL 50MB Package costing £40.25 a month... i know Virgin are doubling my speed to 100MB soon and then to 120MB over the summer.
The question i have is - If i wanted to upgrade sooner to 100MB before Virgin double my speed, will it cost me anything (upgrade fee, engineer visit etc) or would it be classed as an early upgrade and done free? Would my monthly payment also be affected? I just tried to see if i could upgrade to 100MB on the website, but they're just saying to call them.
Would i be better of just waiting (My area is scheduled for April - July), or phoning Virgin and see what they say? I'm also still using the VMNG300 (I think it's that - the old Standard 50MB modem) and if possible would like to avoid the Superhub due to the problems i read about...
