HELP AND ADVISE WANTED
i have sky in my new home and is set up okay, in other rooms i have sky cables set up already from the previous owner who must of had Multi rooms, with this in mind i got a Bush Freesat box and tried to install in the dining room first then the bedroom and it says NO SIGNAL, i installed it in the study room and it works okay, my question is if it works in some rooms, then why does it say NO SIGNAL in other rooms, the cables look fine and the connectors look okay, your kind help and thoughts would be much appreciated

Please only post in one thread concerning the same problem, identical post removed fromthe other thread

Welcome to the site, Regarding your issue have you confirmed that the cables in the other rooms actually go to the dish and that you have a multi-LNB installed (i.e..more than one cable going to it??)

Hi Kimmy, Thank you for your welcome, and there must be Multi cables going in as i have set up the Freesat box in the study room at the back of my house, and sky is set up in the front room i am not sure on how to know if the cables in the Dining room and bedroom are connected to the dish, as they are coming out of the walls in the room and not sure on how to trace them back to the dish

First step, go outside and look at the dish. How many cables are connected to the LNB? (That's the small box attached to the arm that sticks out in front of the dish).

Is this the same number as the number of satellite terminals you think you have in the house?
