A family friend asked my assistance to install a e-mail for her as she had just joined the computing fraternaty I mistakenly suggested virgin media ,after all she hatd just purchased a large package and broadband and had no problems paying her direct debit and mistakenly thought that she would be able to pay bills on line ,well this is now 14 days with the advice it would take another 14 days ,those nice people at virgin are so busy once they secure your contract ?
come on virgin show us what you can do ??

It might be simpler to set up a gmail address with google. That way if she ever changes from Virgin she'll still keep the same address.

The title indicates that your friend simply doesn't apparently have an email address set up - but reading the thread of your posting, I'm not sure, and it looks like you mean there's no broadband connection.
Which is it?

once broadband is installed the engineer should leave the customer on the registration page , where they enter a @virginmedia.com email address.

"Congratulations - you're connected! Unfortunately your computer uses a browser that we don't support."

... Firefox not supported? Yeah, VERY out of date.
