Short story: For the past few days now my connection seems to be randomly dropping, taking my TV with it, seems to occur randomly for random lengths of time.

have you rebotted the modem? They can only support a total max power level across all channels and according to what you have posted you are running 5 channels with the 5th at 42.7. If that is true then that is what is causing your problem. If a modem reboot doesnt sort it out with a new config file or something to bang you back down to 4 channels then a call to tech support on 150 is in order

i think that a bug with the new channel showing the high power level when its not ready, the outages are probably network end as they do the upgrades to allow up to 8 channels
