The standalone price for 50Mb is currently £35 or £37 with a phoneline.

From the 1st of April the price of 100Mb is dropping to the same price as 50Mb, so I expect you'll be given an upgrade to 100Mb. Either that or you'll be paying £37 for 50Mb and others will be paying £37 for 100Mb.

Infact won't the 50Mb become redundant from the 1st of April or will they sell them side by side for the same price? A stupid idea but you never know...

According to the web site 50meg is £25.50 with a phone line and £34.75 without. I don't know where people are getting these other prices from, but these are the ones VM actually quote themselves.

Despite the rumors, I have been sent nothing telling me that the price is to rise, so I'm assuming 50meg is staying the same.

With a Virgin Phone line

£25.50 a month*

*Plus a Virgin Phone line for £13.90 a month

= £39.40

Yeah, its £25 a month with a phone line.

Of course, looking at your bill you can't tell that ever since VM changed the bills to just show a package total and not the cost for each line. Which makes the fact I have a fee for an additional set top box, then a discount for a free additional set top box, then a fee for tv drive and then a discount for tv drive all the more infuriating. They really dont have a clue what they are doing with their billing systems.
