Your chart looks better than mine.

Check your router for QoS being set on and the incorrect upstream being specified.

Something's wrong. Do a tracert to BBC or something and post the results.

With you being able to achieve 50mb downstream reasonably, it seems the upstream result is being skewed by something. I'd run a ping -t while doing the test as well, both to your router, and the VM gateway, to see what happens.

I thought the upload speed on 50meg was 5meg, well as close to that as possible.
We are on 50meg and get these typical speeds.

I have the same thing with speedtest.net never reporting more than 0.8mbps upload.

However I can upload files at 200kB/s and the line capacity test that qasdfdsaq posted on another thread gives a result of 1.68mbps.
Is it a problem with speedtest.net?

This one:
http://mcs.lushsoft.com/myspeed/mycapacity_50mb.html

thanks for that one, it's pretty cool.

speedtest sites are nto realible full stop, peopel think that speedtest site will give the right speed for everyone, but peopel forget how do you think the speedtest site work they need bandwidth to test yoru conenction if ther ebandiwdht is 1gigbit and you have 50 100mb customer testing fromt eh same server it unlikely to report you getting 100mb for every cusotmers one cusotmer might get told there getitng but naother might told there getting 1mb, this goes for upload and downloads
