Well, I just got 50mb installed today and the guy did a speed test and it was 47mbps,

about 30 minutes after he left I tested the speed and it came with 15mbps
I tested again and again;

15mbps
28mbps
45mbps
8mbps
4mbps
1.4mbps
15mbps

So its very unstable, when I download a file it downloads at 700kb/s(kilobytes)

then after 30 seconds it will freeze and the modem seems to either reset or something because ig et that little yellow icon on the wifi status(windows 7)

The upload is working fine, its 4.7mbps and for upload speed just under 500kb/s

on every speed test the upload was fine.

So its the download thats not working right.
any help?

peak for you!XD recoonect

what turn it off and on?

I've never had a problem with peak times on 10mbps its always been either 9.66mbps or 8mbps.

its not right that its going from 1mbps to 47mbps every minute.

Very helpful.

Keep using the VM wireless device but is it possible to get some wired tests to see if just being wireless is the issue?

I found in the first 24 hours the speed is inconsistent so that may just be as simple as waiting it out.

cheers man, you on 100mb?

Yea it seems to have sorted it self out. I think the issue is with my laptop wifi adaptor, perhaps it just cant handly higher speeds.

Yea I would have gotten 100mb but it was such a hassle asking for 50mb, but i think 50mb is enough for me until my next pay raise :)
