For three of the last five days, I've got home to find no Internet connection. A reset of the firewall and cable modem fixes things, but as my wife gets home before me, it needs fixing ...

In the logs are errors such as:

SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync;
Lost MDD Timeout;
No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

Downstream
64QAM * 4
Power Level: 7.81 - 8.39 dB
RxMER: 38.21 - 38.55 dB

Upstream
16QAM * 1
Power Level: 35.25 dB

This is a 50M connection (53Mbps).

Any help appreciated, thanks.

call 150 from your home phone and speak to bb support. your power levels are a little high which an attenuator would fix but your connection needs looking at nonetheless.

if you've got a reboot issue with the SH running R26 then read through this > http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/33680836-lights-going-off.html and the link within it.

Its actually a VMNG300 not a Superhub and he should be calling the 50Mb support line on 0800 052 0431

sorry
In case you are curious you can tell its a VMNG300 because it says RxMER, that is the only modem to have that instead of SNR.:D
