Right lets get to the bottom of this, if you have a superhub, lets see if the problems are all based around one thing, wifi...

Ticked all the frequent problems ones except for wired speed problems which I didn't have. Reliability was the main problem. You missed an option out for bad range, which is terrible. I couldn't get a signal in the loft cilonversion when I can get 3 or 4 bars from any of the other 4 routers I have

Wired = Only one problem since I got it.
Wireless = Drops dead almost daily, forcing a reboot to bring it back, plus the signal seems weaker, I can no longer take my laptop over to my friends across the road and keep the connection, which I could do with my old wireless router.

From what I've been asking it seems if you use the superhub as a modem and leave wifi to another device it seems pretty reliable.

Don't have 'frequent' problems. Since Tivo was launched, I've rebooted Superhub twice due to wireless connectivity issues.

close but I also had to remove all port forwards.

So.

with DMZ on to another router.
wireless off.
no port forwards.
firewall off.
no lan traffic going through it.

was reasonably stable.

with bridge mode it is fine also.

Only problem I have found is wifi sometimes (and i`m talking rarely) needs a reboot due to total loss and when I swapped my Xbox over with another one I have port triggering seem to of got stuck on the other xbox, again a reboot fixed.

So bridge mode isn't available yet, but should be in later firmware release?

yep, the bridge mode in testing has no GUI, VM have to manually disable/enable it on request per user, as you can guess they not going to have it like that for hundreds of thousands of customers. In R27 its part of the changelist so will be integrated into the GUI.

Of course this is subject to change, I have never seen R27.

When I have my install would the tech be able to enable bridge mode? With current firmware?

No, the tech doesn't have the tools or knowledge ..

How can it be done then, or can't it be done at all...

I had to vote for no fault option. However,

a) I get drop outs on the WAN side almost daily. In fairness this could be unrelated to the superhub.
b) the wifi range is DIRE...

The wife wanted to flog my old netgear on Ebay but I've held onto it just in case...

If I never used WiFi I'd be able to vote no problems with wired but as it is there is no option for infrequent problems caused by dodgy WiFi requiring reboots to get working again I can't.
