Hello, just want to ask a few questions about ordering 100Mbit.

Is there a particular number I should call to order 100Mbit?

What are the best discounts I can hope for, I was once told there were no more discounts available for my account, called up another week, and I got another discount applied.

I currently have 50Mbit, 2x V+HD and the HD sky movies and sports pack, as well as talk unlimited.

I am looking to either just upgrading to 100Mbit or upgrading to 100Mbit and replace one V+hd with the 1tb tivo box.

Would one of the kind VM guys/gals please let me know what would be the best case regarding discounts.

My average bill over the last 9months has been nearly £200 a month.

Any help appreciated.

Kind Regards
Tom

You would probably save a bit by going to one of the VIP packs. Best to just phone up and try to work a deal out, retentions are usually good.

Even with the discounts I've currently got I pay £10 more than a new customer would!

I don't know why they would offer a discount on 100meg or TiVo, they are both flagship products you can't get anywhere else

Because I am paying more than a new customer, and I want to know what the best case scenario is...

Is there a particular number I should call, or should I just call retentions?

Retentions.

Will they be open on Monday? (bank holiday)

Are retentions all UK based?

Retentions are UK based, don't know if they're open Monday though. Only one way to find out.

There are, but they avoid discussions about billing like the plague. Probably because they are just as confused as customers are about it. VM aren't terribly good at having a clear pricing structure, or keeping to one.

there is masque who is tech support, nopanic who does email and modems etc, weesteev who is new builds, a few business employees. No-one is from retentions so how can they comment

if you want the new customer price then go on "build a package" on the VM website, but you can probably get better prices on the phone

yeah VMs billing is the most confusing I have come across. I also disagree with the policy of loyalty discounts.

Ben is probably the man to ask, but as above, I get too confused with all the deals and offers ..

I've never worked in sales and even though I maintain the systems the codes site on, it would be near impossible for me to know them all or keep up to date with them.

Call in mate, speak to someone who has your account in front of them, my advice would be speak to them like a human .. like a mate, have a chat.. if they aren't willing to then hang up and try again .. they want you as a customer, so they need to work to give you what you want ..
