Hi all

Was happily surfing away on iPad all morning then suddenly my Internet died, went to look at modem and my sync light has gone off and the download light is constantly flashing.

Tried rebooting just comes back with download flashing still.

Modem is showing I have no connections what so ever, anyone know what could be wrong? Tech can't come till Friday and I've just had back surgery so laid up in bed I'll go crazy with no net lol

Thanks

something dodgy is going on, you can see it is trying to establish a connection to the CMTS but it cant complete it for some reason. I would give tech support a ring if i were you, you might find it is an area fault.

Any mention of Access Denied in the status? At around the same time my modem did exactly the same thing. It was removed from the network by an overzealous anti-fraud script, had to get it re-activated.

Item Status Comments
Acquired Downstream Channel 536 MHz In Progress
Ranged Upstream Channel N/A Other
Provisioning State In Progress DS Scanning
Ethernet Link Status Up 100 Mbps/Full duplex

Status just stays at in progress, I have logged it with tech support they are sending a technician out to me Friday to hopefully fix it there saying it's a local not an area issue. Just posted on the off chance it might be an easy fix but seems not thanks all

Same thing's happening to me. On Tuesday night it dropped off for 2 hours or so, happened today again for around 5 minutes, and just now but came right back on.

Same log errors, access denied etc etc... strange!

if you are getting access denied i dont think the engineer can do anything about it because it isnt a physical problem. He will need to make a phone call to get your modem re-enabled on the network
