I have had a Superhub for a while and its had no real issues but just recently it's started to lose the internet connection.

I have my PS3 wired to the hub and an iMac connected wirelessly.

No idea if this is the correct information but I will post it anyway:-

Mine are flashing blue now and always have done, even prior to the duff firmware updates, I thought this was normal.

There was an upgrade a few days ago and a lot of people who had no problems before the upgrade have now got drop outs. My drop out was so severe I blew the hub switching it off and on every ten minutes. Got a new one coming and VM agent told me that the upgrade had corrupted my hub and that it was just a minority that would have this problem.

Maybe you're a minority too :)

My top blue light was steady and flashed when data was transmitting until the upgrade then it flashed continually. middle light was green and wireless was continuous blue. When it blew all turned continuous blue.

It's been fine for weeks, well i haven't noticed anything anyway. It happened three times in 2 hours today.

Checked my air port on the mac and within about 30 seconds it had re connected.

'puter is actually in the same room as the Hub, just not quite near enough or tidy enough to run a cable to it.

You could try the reset pin. I found the worst about this problem was the network denial when it re-connected. nightmare :(

so, they've stuffed the R26 update as well... oh my.

I'm not so sure if it was the R26 or the fact that at the same time as the R26 upgrade they upgraded my 1mb upload to 3mb. 2 upgrades at same time could have caused my problem.

Regards.

Tried the reset, hasn't dropped yet. The thing is, you don't necessarily notice the drop in Internet when you're doing day to day Internet browsing as it could drop out whilst reading a website and it's come back on before you've even noticed it's gone.

I do however notice that it drops when I use my PS3 as a media server and I'm streaming films over to it.

What was the exact date of the update?

Think mine was early Friday morning of the 22nd.

Are you asking me a question? Or is this someone from the VM call Centre?

Could anyone suggest if there are any settings i could change to stop this Super hub from dropping the connection.

It drops for a matter of seconds and then is back online. Fine for web browsing but it's killing online gaming.
