Camelot is a new series from US cable network Starz (home of Spartacus), airing on Friday nights in the US. Two eps have been shown so far.

Being from Starz, it is more... adult... than Merlin ;)

In the wake of King Uther’s sudden death, chaos threatens to engulf Britain. When the sorcerer Merlin has visions of a dark future, he installs the young and impetuous Arthur, Uther’s unknown son and heir, who has been raised from birth as a commoner. But Arthur’s cold and ambitious half sister Morgan will fight him to the bitter end, summoning unnatural forces to claim the crown in this epic battle for control. These are dark times indeed for the new king, with Guinevere being the only shining light in Arthur’s harsh world. Faced with profound moral decisions, and the challenge of uniting a kingdom broken by war and steeped in deception, Arthur will be tested beyond imagination. Forget everything you think you know…this is the story of Camelot that has never been told before.

I did watch most of the first episode but it turned out to be only the first 50 mins. I have new versions on my laptop ready to watch.

Yep, I downloaded them the morning after they were shown and watched them in the evening.

Not spectacular, but good enough for me to add it to my weekly download list for further viewing.

I think it's only supposed to be around 50 minutes. It's just had the end credits removed is all.

Episode 2 seems to follow straight on. I don't think anything was cut, and I haven't seen a longer version.

--------------

Oh, the series was created by Chris Chibnall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Chibnall), who is the showrunner & head writer. He was previously the head writer on Torchwood, and has also written for Doctor Who and Law & Order UK.

My one ended halfway through a conversation though, so that can't be right. This was from the preview one though.

OK so I've watched the first 2 eps and got the next 2 downloading right now. It's not quite as gripping viewing as Spartacus, but I think it will be good once it gets going :)
