Two people have been arrested following the theft of a meerkat from a wild animal park in Kent.
It was found dead in a dog waste bin in Sandwich last Wednesday after a member of the public reported seeing it hit by a car a few days earlier.
What goes through such people's minds?
Probably, "Hur, hur, hur, let's nick that meerkat so we can do that advert at home." :grind:
Police said they were questioned on suspicion of theft and possession of drugs.
Probably high as a kite.. :(
I hope they get a prison sentence
What goes through such people's minds?
Very little. If you pardon the pun they really are quite simples.
Possibly the drugs they were in possession of were effective at reducing any sense they might have had..
they only wanted to compare lol
100 hours community service for the brain donor responsible.

Yesterday, Catherick, 19, narrowly escaped jail and was ordered to carry out 100 hours of community work after he admitted the theft from Wingham Wildlife Park, in Canterbury, Kent, on December 29.
The court heard that Catherick was visiting the meerkat enclosure with his girlfriend Deborah Smith, 47, when he made the ‘impulsive’ decision to steal the six-year-old animal.
He is 19 and the girlfriend is 47??? :Yikes:
