I put up a B&Q / Ross freesat kit back around June - with most channels appearing fine.
For some reason though it refused to pick up More4, E4, or E4+1
- but More4+1 was fine.
But then a couple of weeks ago BBC4 disappeared and went black.
Rescan then caused BBC4 to vanish off the channel list completely.
Q1 - Is this original lack of 3 channels more likely to be transponder skew / rotation not quite right, or off-beam accuracy on satellite poistion?
- very odd that only 3 channels were lost.
- the Ross receiver HDR-6110 says they were TPs 2 and 5.
[ but these TP numbers don't stack up with Lyngsat info...]
Q2 - why would BBC4 just drop out? - because it was marginal and something moved? Satellite dish suddenly settled slightly on its mountings after about 3 months? - or what?
