Hi ive recently bought a new pc now i cant find the virgin media internet installtion disc and i rang them up and they wont send me anover is there anyway of installing the internet on the pc without the disc?

Welcome to the forum

If it's a wired connection (ethernet) then you don't need the install disk, just set up the ethernet conenction to "Aquire an address automatically"

If USB then you should change over to ethernet as USB will only give you about 6-7Mbps instead of full speed

cheers and how do i do this i aint very technical with these things

would i have to take away the wireless router and start fresh from the modem?

IF you are using a Wireless Router you don't need the disc anyway

Where did you get the router from, and what model is it?

its the one supplied by virgin media for the 20 meg internet
