Number Port BT to VM - any time limit?

Is there any time limit to when you can port a number over from BT to VM?

Having VM installed this week but want to make sure I am happy with everything especially the phone part so have no requested a number port on install.

If all goes well I was hoping to port a later date, the BT line will remain active alongside the VM.

You can port your number at any time as long as both lines are active i.e. you haven't told BT to close the line.

thanks for the confirmation BM much appreciated. Both lines will be active and will remain so for at least a month as my BT contract doesn't run out until September.

Once your contract with BT runs out, then call VM on 150 and ask for that number to be ported over. Don't contact BT as this can cause problems... let VM do all the work for you. :)
