Syfy's Eureka returns this week, starting on Friday (paired with Haven (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/110/33666737-haven-season-1-a.html)).

A well known addition to this season's cast is British actor James Callis, who many will recognise from playing Dr Gaius Baltar in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica (& he also had a short-lived role in FlashForward).

Also, as mentioned in the Warehouse 13 thread (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/110/33667037-warehouse-13-season-2-a.html), Eureka & W13 will be having an official cross-over this season. Eureka's Neil Grayston will appear in a W13 episode as his Eureka character "Fargo", while W13's Allison Scagliotti will appear in a Eureka episode as her W13 character "Claudia".

[Eureka cast members Joe Morton, Erica Cerra and Niall Matter have appeared in W13 episodes in season 1, but as different characters, not their Eureka characters]

I have a soft-spot for Eureka...I love Carters Character, and Alison is just yummy :).

I'm unsure about this new character Grant though....He's just a bit too '40s for me (stern and proper).

Loved the opener though but felt disappointed for Jo because of the timeline change though.

Question I want answered..

"Is the change permanent or will they get Grant back to his time and reset the timeline??

I think they'll get him back, which will probably wipe what happened from everyones mind apart from them 5/6. I hope they don't cause I'm glad Tess is back.

Ooooh! When do these seasons come to the UK?

according to Sky Never Miss sometime in september ,but there are rumours on DS forums that sky1 does not have the broardcast rights for season 4

can anyone try to dig up some info on this as having spent an hour searching loads of sites there is no info on season 4 uk airdates so it does make you wonder if it will be shown in the uk at all

Poor Tess, I felt sorry for her this week.

Poor Tess, I felt sorry for her this week.

I never really got Tess' character. It seemed she was just put in as a distraction for Carter because of the whole Nathan/Alison thing (before he died).

And now the long wait for the second half of the season :(

There will at least be a Christmas special though.

I'm glad they didn't end it on a cliffhanger, or do a lame-ass cop-out ending & revert it all back to how it was originally.

Is that US timescale or UK?

If the UK is it repeated anytime this week?

New season#5 started last night with what looks like a christmas episode, looks like they're keeping the weird episodes numbers as it was #11  Not seen it yet but will be watching it sometime tomorrow

According to Wikipedia that's the last episode of Season 4 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Eureka_episodes#Season_4_.282010.E2.80.932 011.29

Season four will be split into two parts plus a standalone Christmas special

Kymmy
07-12-2011, 22:12
well it's been labelled as Season 5 on IMDB..How weird, will merge this then with Season 4 thread as it is officially S4e21 the christmas special
