Im only peaking at 4-6mbps, i dont know if the signal needs to settle or something (only got installed on tuesday) but surely i should be getting atleast 15mbps or higher? Its like this all day. heres my modem stats:

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Channel Id : 0
Downstream Frequency : 586750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : QAM64
Downstream Symbol Rate : 6952 Ksym/sec
Downstream Interleave Depth : taps12Increment17
Downstream Receive Power Level : 0.0 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 37.5 dB

Those are great, how're the upstream stats?

Upstream Lock : Locked
Upstream Channel ID : 2
Upstream Frequency : 22192000 Hz
Upstream Modulation : QPSK
Upstream Symbol Rate : 2560 Ksym/sec
Upstream transmit Power Level : 40.3 dBmV

Those are the upstream. Think its just over subscribed?

Perhaps, but why would it suck all the time instead of just at peak times if it were?

See if it's any better behaved in the morning maybe, in the interim reboot the modem until you see a different upstream frequency from 22.2MHz and see if that improves things. If you can get one with a modulation that says 16QAM that would be ideal.
