Thank god dude, I have been having exactly the same problems. At 2200 Monday night my connection just died and has worked about twice for 10 mins after that. My correctable codewords are exactly the same as yours and my T3 timeouts are up to 1961 atm. I rang the useless Indian tech guys monday night and they said my modem was faulty which I didnt believe because my connection has been flawless for the last year. An engineer has just been round and said the modem isnt faulty and it is an intermittent network fault but by a huge cooincidence, as soon as he walked through the foor the flipping thing started working again. It is fine atm and I have got his mobile number if it happens again (which I guarantee it will do in about 10 mins).

Basically the lights on the modem cycle through and it gets to the blue tick and keeps flashing and cant get a connection so it starts all over again. Or, it finally manages to get one so i connect to the internet and Instant Messenger will tell me I have 5 emails or something, but the upstream light stays solid so it isnt sending any info back and when i click on anything or try to open any webpages, it just times out.

I knew the engineer wasnt going to be able to do anything, I just hope that it doesnt take too long for them to diagnose and repair the network fault. It must be something to do with the lightning we had the other night.

Edit: 10:13

Just to let you know, the engineer has just been back round. He went to call just round the corner from me and wanted to let me know that the dude had exactly the same problem, that is 3 peeps in a row now, and he has escalated it to the higher ups to get them to look into it. At least something is being done about it now (fingers crossed)

Btw, this is some stuff from the error log as well:

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;CMTS-MAC=00:1d:70:cc:06:78;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;
ToD request sent - No Response received;CMTS-MAC=00:1d:70:cc:06:78;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;
Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CMTS-MAC=00:1d:70:cc:06:78;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;

Do you want to have a look and see if we are on the same CMTS?

hi m8

looking at those bottom stats you posted looks exactly like mine.

I am at work so will check when I get back.

glad it's not just me then. I reckon the thunderstorm we had may have had something to do with the disruption the other night.

my connection dropped again and has just come back. I rang the tech guys just to make sure the engineer was doing what he was supposed to and they said that an intermittent fault with the SNR had been logged and was being investigated, so at least we know they are on to it. The engineer that came round earlier said he is going to ring me tomorrow and see how things are going.

I wonder if this, is related to the problem, I was having with a signal issue.
It seems I have been having some T3 errors.

Current total from Sunday (6th)
T3: 586
T4: 1

I was down on sunday for a few hours so, I think that where most of the T3 errors have come from.

There has been some noise issues in Lincoln some have been fixed and some are being monitored as they only seem to happen at certain times of the day :)

yeah, my config file says 5mbit up but I am only getting about 2mbit though.

FYI Ned if you can pass it on, my connection was fine yesterday afternoon and dropped again last night so they havent cured the problem 100%
