Hi everyone:)

Right where do I start, I have Virgin Media 50meg Broadband and I am haveing major problems.

My speeds are at really weird levels all the time, one minute I get 50.46mbs then a minute later I only have 0.13mbs.

Four engineers have been out and fitted all new equipment/cables/connectors and I have even had a full repull to the box on the street.

I have been going on the 192.168.100.1 modem address and the power levels fluctuate all the time. Here is an example. They have been as far apart as 15 before, DS-1 was 4.64 and the DS-2 was -8.34

I am getting really frustrated, any ideas guys?

Thanks in advance.;)

Edit here is a new screen shot taken 3 hours later, notice the big difference in the power levels.

Call Virgin and get an engineer booked. Either your modem is hosed or there's something very weird going on with your connection to the network.

Nothing more to add, it's that simple.

Keep at them until someone with a clue changes your modem and takes a proper look at things and escalates the issue to the networks guys.
