Noticed new pricing on this forum for 20Mb (XL) package.

Logged into the self-help site and applied for the upgrade from L to XL.

Two minutes later received confirmation email and ran Speedtest:

No modem reboot needed!

Very happy here in NG2.

Use the same site and server and run the test at peak time tonight, probably around 6-7pm.

Hi, I did and got just under 16Mb down and around .70Mb up.

I don't use the system at peak times, as I work from home and am usually deep into the 2nd glass of <insert alcohol of choice here> by then ;-)

As long as it's fast off-peak that's all I need.

Cheers,

Tim

Which fixed an earlier issue where the modem config was showing as invalid but still worked!

timbiller what makes you think i haven't?

Apparantly because I have a loyalty bonus (which by the way was given me so I would not go to any other provider) I am not entitled to any new cheaper advertised price scheme!!!!

Ofcom are having a field day with this one. Trading standards next on my list to contact

You had a deal not to leave so you can't have another deal without losing that one first
