Anyone else been watching "Luther (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00s8jk0)" on Tuesdays at 9pm? (BBC1 / BBC HD). Started last week (Tuesday 4th May).

6 part series about "maverick detective" DCI John Luther (played by Idris "Stringer Bell" Elba... tbh the only reason I decided to watch it : Elba rules).

I really like it so far.

His estranged wife Zoe is played by Indira Varma (Lucius' wife Niobe in Rome), & her boyfriend is played by Paul McGann (Withnail & I, oh and that crap Dr Who TV movie).

The excellent Alice Morgan is played by Ruth Wilson.

The music used on the main titles is Paradise Circus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEgX64n3T7g) by Massive Attack.

Set in London. Idris Elba plays DCI Luther, part of the Met's Serious Crime Unit (I think).

Yep I've been watching it as well. Very good although it wouldn't win any prizes for originality.

Still can't shake the image of Stringer Bell from my mind whenever Luther gets a bit angry though.

Penultimate episode = SHOCK & AWESOME!

Brilliant stuff. Gripping.

Started off normal, & had an excellent couple of reference's to NYPD Detective Munch (Law & Order SVU, Homicide)... AND THEN IT GOT RATCHETED UP & UP & UP & BAM!!!!!!!!!
