Is the 50meg broadband effected from traffic shaping? cause im currently only getting 6Meg, thats terrible for a 50meg product! where usually i receive the full 50!

No, either you are reading 6 MegaBytes a second as Megabits or you've a fault.

50Mb is not Traffic Managed as this link shows.

Well i just did a speed test on speedtest.net and it says my speed is 6meg. But then now it says 49.15mbps.

How can you tell if your downloading at the correct speed? also is there anyway i can try and get a quick fix for tonight?

Ill give them a call in the morning! it just seems everytime i download something i cant get any connection the download continues, but any web pages will not load!
