50 meg install

I am upgrading from the 20 meg service and after talking to Virgin Media have booked an installation.

Does the engineer need to access the box on the wall to which the modem cable connects to??

If so i will have to move some equipment so it is accessible and what other things do they need to do??

As far as I am aware they do not need to access any box except the modem, to replace it with a super duper one.

I for one philwhite100, would be grateful to know if your experience any differances from your present 20 meg to the new 50. As I am tempted myself. Keep in touch please

If you want the modem moved or the cable is damaged or degraded then he would need access to the wall box.

OK badhairday i will let you know how it goes on. I know a few websites where fullspeed downloads can be made so i will soon find out.
