Thank you for replying back to my post, I was just wondering you see as in the evening sometimes the upstream power level goes up to like 53.0dbmv which stops my internet working.

53.0dbmv is within spec and should not cause any issues with your connection.

downstream i would say is slightly high. I was always lead to believe by second line support anything over around 6 - 6.5 is classed as being a bit high.

It depends on the equipment that he is connected to and if his connection is stable at those levels.
