Going digital at last lol

I am looking to move with the times and have got a digibox at last for my 3 yr old Panasonic LCD TX-17LA1 tv but not able to get the tv to pick up the digital programmes please can anyone help me - frustrated !!! Been at it all night and still got a hazy screen ::o:
