Problems setting up PS3 Online

Well i've just bought a ps3 and im having problems trying to setup my ps3 to the internet I keep getting DNS error 80710102. I had NTL before they were taken over by Virgin Media, so im using STB. I have my ethernet cable connected directly to the STB and i have powered off and powered on the STB.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what to do now?

You're pretty unlikely to get VM running from the STB to your PS3. It often refuses to connect unless it gets the results it expects where it won't as you'll need to authorise the PS3 first, the best and easiest route would be to buy a router

It should be ok but make sure it's a Cable/DSL router and NOT an ADSL-Modem Router (they're for BT Lines) if you like you could post your choice back here before you go for it to check :)
