Email broke?

Getting prompted for my password via POP3, and with webmail I can log in and get on using my password (I think) but then get:

"An unrecognised error was returned from the mail system. Please try again later. "

This is from the East Midlands area.

Same here all the time and nothing on the status page either.

yeah my email was dead but now working again.
