i have various sites that i have to connect to remotely for work. now a lot of these site don't have a phone/bb connection available to our equipment, so we put a gsm modem in there so we can dial in. it's a pain to keep having to use bluetooth and my mobile to do it.

so the question is............if i just plug an RJ11 in will vm phone line allow it to dial out like a normal phone call? i ask as i haven't got a lead at the moment and will get one today.

Yes - a Virgin phoneline will allow dial up - as long as it's not using a specific BT only access number

cheers ben, the phone no's are mainly remote modems that have standard mobile sim's in them. covered partly with talk mobile on my phone plan and get work to cover the rest :D
