Hello there

Had my 50MB fitted today worked fine when he fitted it, came to use it at 9pm tonight and now not working.

Tried reset/off on again/waiting then trying again/rebooting etc.

Checked the modem page and says "dhcpv4 in progress" doesn't change from that, also on the downstream only have 1 channel instead of the usual 3?

Not sure if anyone else is having probs, if isn't fixed by tomorrow will have to phone them, not a good start!

Call the 50Mb team on 0800 052 0431 after 0800.

Cheers, thanks for the 0800 number i was gonna phone the other one!

Turns out it was apparantly a billing error on their side, apparently i'll be up and running by later today.

Ahh glad you had it sorted, I saw your post this morning as I'm in exactly the same situation.. I setup 50mb broadband yesterday in Newport Shropshire (not too far from you) and then at about 9/10pm it dropped. Called this morning and was the same problem.

They setup a direct debit credit limit of £60 but the first 2 payments go at the same time totalling £74.

If anyone else gets this problem just ring up and they'll sort it almost instantly.
