I will be re-installing windows shortly. I rang CS to try get the most up to date broadband installation CD only to be told (after a few misdirected calls) that I don't need one. They said to just connect up modem & switch on (via ethernet) and then start up the PC a few minutes later and I'd be ok....
Is this true? Wouldn't want to trash my pc only to find I need a cd after all..... I'd get withdrawal symptoms if I was sans broadband for a week .
Edit: I'll have windows xp after the reinstall and a blue ntl:250 modem if that helps any?
