View Full Version : Promblems with connections to US?
Is there a big internet problem in the US this morning?
I can get to UK sites fine (BBC, CF, etc) but a lot of US sites are timing out (Microsoft, hp.com, sun.com, novell.com).
Can't see anything reported on here or bbc website.
Anyone else having problems.

It's bad for me here in Woking too. No US access, not able to connect to Mobile Me or the iTunes Store either.

I can access all those US sites you list instantly with no delay.
According to the broadband phone line there are known issues with broadband in the Guildford Area (I'm in Woking as well).
Service should be restored by 1pm according to the message.
Edit: If you desperately need access to websites that don't require you to login etc you can use proxify.com to access them.

I guess that'll be it then :(
Same here in Guildford, we had a 2 hour complete outage during Friday so this may be connected.

I can't connect to any google site or my world of warcraft server since about 20 mins ago. Still seem to be able to connect to other sites though. NR5.
You could try the Virginmedia proxy just click this link http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/34773822-post18.html
