Slow in Dewsbury

Hi, normally I seem to be ok on this 10meg connection, normally in the 9000s somewhere, but this week I'm noticing a slower speed, just checked this morning 8.30am on speedtest.net,
to Manchester 4.97Mb/s, ping 59 :(
to Maidenhead 6.35Mb/s, ping 27

do you think it's worth the hassle of ringing them (VM) up to have a moan or what, nothing downloading overnight, actually it was turned off to see if it made any difference this morning, sadly not, been a bit slow like this for over a week :(

Have you tried downloading a large file to check the speed?

Hi, just tried that with a game, (from a friend in the uk) size 345.88MB time to download said 11 mins ish, speed it was downloading at was between 500 & 537KBps, so what do you make of that ?

btw I cancelled the download before it got halfway, just to check the speed it was going at.

No good your better of downloading for A virgin Server Or Microsoft. Noone's upload will allow you to reach top speed I.e P2P Etc.
