Hey all - me again ^_^

Had 50Mb installed on Saturday, all seems a lot faster than 20Mb, but still not tip-top. We get between 30-40Mb.

Power levels are:

(dBmV) 15.07 | 15.61 | 15.14 | 15.09

Is it me, or do these seem high? We haven't suffered any major slowness or disconnects (had enough of that on recent 20Mb!) Its just that I noticed them and it seems weird that we only get 30-40 D/L and it got me wondering if they are related?

You need a tech those levels are way to high for your connection, ring now.

Thanks guys, will let my Dad know - weird thing is the Engineer had that screen open which is when I noticed them (They went between 15dB to 9dB in the time he was here) but he didn't do a thing or seem to even take notice of them...

More or less the same levels I was left with after the install tech left me on Wednesday...

I've posted on the vm.support.broadband.cable about this as it clearly isn't on that the install techs get away with such a shoddy job and it's up to the customer to contact TS to resolve. Why should we be inconvenienced and have to wait in for someone else to turn up to correct the first guys lack of care?

In my case the service is working well and I've stuck a 13dB pad inline to correct the levels for now :)
