Spot on no issues with your power levels at all.

What are the targets for the downstream power level and snr and also the upstream power level?

targets fro downstream power level is +/- 3dBmV dunno about snr upstream between 28db - 53db i think ask Moldova to confirm

This LINK (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/26006-cable-modem-signal-levels.html) is what you are looking for and Vinh1000 has posted ideal levels above.

Here are mine and my connections fine

Downstream Receive Power Level : -4.2 dBmV

Downstream SNR : 38.5 dB

Upstream transmit Power Level : 45.0 dBmV

If your connection is working well all the time it really doesn't matter, YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary.

Wanting to know what a 'perfect' install looks like will just bring a temptation to look for faults that aren't there. If it works well all the time it's perfect.

Hi all just wondering why does my downstream keep going up to 3.9dbmv and my upstream keeps going up to 52.0 dbmv it only seems to happen in the evening is it to do with how many users are online in my area snr just goes up to 41.2db.

That is within operational parameters and not a fault.;)
