Can this be done? I am using the free PRTG Grapher and it cannot find the Router, yet a Google seemed to say it supports SNMP v1, 2c and 3 (I will be using v1).

If so, do I need to open ports on the Router? The program says UDP 161 and UDP >1023 (Any port above 1023 that is not used by other programs) for the client but I am unsure where this need routing to (eg which IP)

Ta :)

You won't be opening any ports to talk to the router itself. You will be using the same IP address as the one you log onto the device with via web interface.

I cant figure out why it can't connect to the Router. I thought it might have been a port issue but as you say, it's going from client to gateway, not from the wan.

I used the admin address also :?
