I recently upgraded from 10MB to 20MB and the download speeds I am getting are great.

The issue is that when i now use iChat on my Mac I am told that the video and audio quality are poor at the viewers end. This appears to be related to a poor level up upload speed (or variable at least). The download video and audio are great, but the stuff I am sending out is not good enough to use anymore. Before I 'upgraded' I had no such issues.

I have tested the speed and I get the following :-

Download 13.30 Mbps (have seen closer to 20 Mbps at other times)
Upload .44 Mbps (which is not great, but should still cope with the iChat rates used).

Any ideas?

Your power levels are fine for a 20Mb connection so any issue is either with the network or your equipment and a call to Tech Support 151 from your Virgin Media Phone It's absolutely free or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line may help clarify the issue.

Instead of that copy paste crap Molly, why not post some troubleshooting steps to help define the nature of the issue.

Your the one speaking it and we cannot diagnose fully as we are only offering advice as the Data Protection Act prevents doing anything further than that.

3) Click on Applications.
4) Click on Utilies.
5) Double-click on Terminal.
6) Type ping 212.58.253.68
