Hi

In my neck of the woods the speed of my supposd 10M ( up to !) connection has droppd to between 1>1.7 MB

I was at a bbq last night and was told by a neighbour that they had noticed it too, had rung VM CS to report it 2/3 weeks ago but got the impression they were simply being fobbed off

probably they were as nothing has happened and the speed remains degraded considerably as above

what is the recommended way of actually getting some action implemented

is there a specific person with some action power at CS who one can email

is there a complaints email person/procedure

is writing to a known person a better way of causing the problem to be actioned

seems unfair if they charge us for a service we are definitely not getting

Do Virgin know you have a problem? What did they say when you reported it to them?

There no specific person who anyone can point you to until you;ve exhausted all normal support methods...

BUT there is both the newsgroups and also ringing CS first thing in the morning (more likely to get a UK agent)

you were absolutely right ! thanks !

rang CS in the early morning - got a very helpful CS rep out of Swansea CS-HQ

she got the 2nd desk moving

they analysed it to a 'return power issue' causing packet drop & loss and a VM engineer now booked in to sort this out

great

Simple answer, to confirm this in your browser type http://192.168.100.1 and post the upstream and downstream power levels - should proove if / not.
