View Full Version : Disconnected from FT poker
Hi all
Recently I've had a cable modem installed from the setop box.The last 3 days Full Tilt Poker had been disconnecting alot every 10 mins it seems to be messing with my Broadband connection.
I've emailed support them and they say its my end.Lost a big pot because I couldn't reconnect.
My browser seems fine with firefox.
Anyone else play on FTP and have this problem please?
Is there anything I can do on my settings of my broadband?.
Thanks all

If its just FPT giving you disconnects then you should see it registering if you do a traceroute to the ip address of FPT. If theres a problem then its due to hardware or possibly a DDOS attack.

Yes its just with Full Tilt Poker.Looks like it could be a attack on them.

Thanks webcrawler Ive copy and pasted everything you said.
I haven't been playing at Full tilt recently, but i'm planning on having a bash at the current bonus promotions this September.
I played there for an hour or so last weekend with no problems.
I haven't had any problems at other sites recently.

Upstream power level is too high, you will need to ring Tech Support and get an engineer - that will probably be the caus of your issue.
thank you webcrawler and everyone else that helped me in this forum.I will contact tech support and ask for a engineer about the upstream level.
cheers mate
