Should have been installed today but the engineer didn't turn up!
I 'phoned them (in India?) - they have re-scheduled for Friday - they say that the port in my pavement is blocked (!?) and an engineer will come tomorrow to fix it - I'm guessing that means someone will be digging up the pavement - the little triangular cap that says NYNEX has been dislodged and I can see thick black cable. I asked for compensation for my wasted day and was offered either an upgraded router from G to N or a free month.

Does anyone know how the tie in with Virgin Mobile works and when I can expect to receive my new handset - and when will they ask me which handset I would like?

Feel very much in the dark so far.

I am awaiting internet connection (they failed to turn up earlier in the week)
I have signed up for a bundle that includes a mobile but no one has asked me which handset I would like or when it might arrive.
Will the installation engineer bring it (unlikely)?

Still feel very much in the dark - I can't believe how difficult it is to communicate with a company that is in the communications business!
