Hey Everyone, i have a 20mb connection, i have no problem going online and getting decent speeds.

but when i get on playstation3 and start to host a online game it will say host ended game for some reason.

ive tried plugging ethernet cable straight to my modem into the ps3 still dont work.

i was just wondering would there be like firewalls setting on the modem that stops other players playing off my ip adress?

Also Just like to add that 1 of my friends has 10mb with Vmedia and hosts fine.

please im begging for help here as it is frustrating to never have an advantage for a change after all who doesnt wan't to have an advantage on an online game, thats the reason i upgraded to 20mb in the first place.

p.s sorry for bad spelling & grammer didnt go school much :)

The modem itself does not block any ports and has no firewall built in.

Post what modem you have and your power levels from your config pages of your modem. The should be a sticker on the bottom saying what model.

If using an Ambit modem please click here

If using any other modem click here

What I want you to post is the Downstream power levels including the SNR and the Upstream power levels for me thanks.

DO NOT POST YOUR MAC ADDRESS OR SERIAL NUMBER
