Have you tried turning your modem (& router if applicable) off for 10mins and then restarting in the Modem > Router > PC order? I had slow speeds (about 5meg) last night and doing that has fixed it. Though it was the first time since the upgrade (and 2nd issue in 3 years) that ive had any problems.

whilst in CMD

How are you connected, direct to modem or Wifi? etc?

Have you tried a power cycle?

What speed are you supposed to be on? and also post the upstream/downstream levels and the op. config. screen of your modem. Are you also sure that it's not 1.2MB (not 1.2Mb) as 1.2MB = about 10Mb?

Downstream
Signal to Noise Ratio 35 dB
Power Level 6 dBmV

Upstream
Power Level 49 dBmV

Your power levels are within operational parameters so any issue must be elsewhere.

One possibility, it seems you get 1Mb from a cable modem when it hasn't been properly activated, and if you use anything other than the default DNS, then you can miss getting directed to the activation pages, as that seems to be by "padded cell" DNS.
