View Full Version : 10mb upgrade working shortly, then back to 2mb!

Hi there,

signed up for virginmedia`s 2/10mb upgrade now available in Cardiff. Its been over a month and I`v been patient but today I had the 10mb speed although only for a few hours.. now it`s gone back to 2mb.

Anyone know what might be going on here? I turned router off for over an hour and no luck getting the 10mb back..

Sounds like you are being traffic managed as you go down to 2.5Mb check here http://www.virginmedia.com/help/traffic-management.php

That does sound right as I was running utorrent. The idea isnt bad I guess, I`ll have to run torrents overnight instead.
