Please can someone tell me if this modem is known to be unreliable with 10mb service. Ihave only found conflicting info at the moment and am trying to sort out an irratic connection

People seem to be having problems with 10mb on the 100s and 120s and a modem swap has cured it for them.

If you are having issues then call Tech Support and they should swap out your modem as it is now quite old and was brought out when we had 512kb not the present speeds.
